Sunrise Beach Boudoir on a 10 year old camera!

Model: Claudia @goldsummer_portrait

This morning's shoot began about 20 minutes before the sun peeked over the horizon, while the sky was still dark and the cool winter breeze hadn't yet disturbed the smooth surface of the water. There were almost no people around, apart from one man sleeping off the night before on the dune just down the beach. As soon as we made it to the sand, the sky lit up with hues of purple and gold, so we got straight into the shoot, hoping to be finished before the morning dog walker traffic.

We began with a white lingerie set against the purple sky opposite the sunrise, then a brown bikini as the sun started to glow bright and golden, and finally a nude look before deciding the time had come to move along as day light had come, and with it fisherman and dog walkers.

For this beautiful golden sunrise shoot, I decided to use my old, secondhand Fujifilm X-T1 with a 35mm f1.4 lens, knowing I would be able to push the ISO a little further that usual and recover the details using Lightroom's new AI de-noise feature (which works great btw)
